Exhibition —  Brassai:  Secret Paris

We wandered up to Heidi (Heidi Museum of Modern Art) here in Melbourne today to take in the Brassai exhibition again. This is one of  those WOW!! exhibitions.

If you have any interest in photography and in Melbourne, this is a must see! Heidi really do know how to put on a great exhibition. And the people love it! Word is there are on average about 400 people a day — and the catalogue is going fast!

This is a rare exhibition — surveys of Brassai do not happen often. These works were borrowed directly from the family estate.

The photographs below are to provide you with a walk through  — so that you can what a wonderful job that Heidi does. I’ll say it again, you may know Brassai’s work, but these are the real deal — vintage prints. Definitely highly recommended.
