Today we ventured out into the rain (it did stop for most of the walk) and enjoyed the views, birds and sounds of the water along several kilometres of the nearby section of the Darebin Creek Tail.

Always looking for reasons to travel around Melbourne, we spotted a closing down sale at a hat shop on Gertrude Street Fitzroy. This being just down the street from Gabriel Cafe, 187 Gertrude St, Fitzroy VIC. Off we went!
