This is an exhibition at photoaccess (Canberra) curated by Ashley Lumb and Laura McLean.

The exhibition contains the work of ten national and international artists with a focus on the environment, plants, and how humans are affecting the planet – being not so good most of the time. There is an exhibition catalogue online.

There are photographs, couple of graphical works, collage, and videos — and a projection of a website.

The artists are: Melanie Bonajo, Renata Buziak, Dornith Doherty, Merilyn Fairskye, Joe Hamilton, Janet Laurence, @san_kaido, Robyn Stacey, Anaïs Tondeur, Suzanne Treister. Curated by Ashley Lumb and Laura McLean

This is a well-curated exhibition that I hope the local photography community and colleagues will support by getting along to spend time with these artworks.

Let us not forget how hard it is for independent curators to bring such a variety of works together being drawn from international and national artists — without the usual institutional support.

Definitely worth the visit. So on your bikes — and get over to photoaccess.
