Dayanita Singh, Museum of Machines

The MAST Foundation in Bologna is presenting for the first time in Italy a major solo exhibition of contemporary photographs by Dayanita Singh.

Curated by Urs Stahel, the exhibition takes its name from the work Museum of Machines. The exhibition features approximately 300 photographs divided into series–Museum of Machines, Museum of Industrial Kitchen, Office Museum, Museum of Printing Press, Museum of Men, File Museum and some other works–which speak of work and production, life, its daily management, and its storage.
