A history of Group M photographers by Philip Bentley<\/h5>\n

<\/a>Back in 1996, Philip Bentley, Melbourne historian, wrote a thesis on the history of the Melbourne photographers, Group M.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The thesis is titled: Deeper Feeling, Wider Vision.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

This association of photographers grew out of a former group, the Moggs Creek Clickers.<\/p>\n

Albert Brown was a significant in his advocacy for the establishment of the Department of Photography within the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV<\/span>).<\/p>\n
