A very Melbourne experience<\/h3>\n

A Saturday meander through streets in a southern quarter of Collingwood. As always, ensure you eat first and have a good coffee. A visit to Falco Bakery<\/a> on Langridge St; good coffee, pastries and a loaf of bread for later. Life is good!<\/p>\n

coffee first while pondering the future and the past<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

a palm tree looking as though it once was required \u2014 but now not so much<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

loads of new apartments scattered about in laneways<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

a little blue art work; plus stupid graffiti vandalism<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

the site of an old brewery; there were many breweries in Collingwood<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

many laneways and many apartments<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u2018<\/span>somewhere\u2019 to live\u2026<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

an auction \u2014 and by the sound of it, the reserve price was not met<\/p>\n

A place to pose for a picture \u2014 an office front door on a quiet Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

In another life, this part of Collingwood could have been a good choice to live for a while.<\/p>\n

We will return for another meander through another quarter of Collingwood one day soon.<\/p>\n
