This being just down the street from Gabriel Cafe, 187 Gertrude St,&nbsp;<em>Fitzroy<\/em> <span class=\"caps\">VIC<\/span>.&nbsp; &nbsp; Off we&nbsp;went!<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->We parked on Gore Street, the section between Victoria Parade and Gertrude Street.<\/p>\n<p>While much of Fitzroy has been plastered over with mindless graffiti (along with the&nbsp; rare real public wall art), this section of Gore Street has been kept clear of Graffiti. Well done locals.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a&nbsp;wonderful mix of historic housing with just about all the properties making the effort to have gardens in their small front yards. The street is a&nbsp;pleasure to wander along.<\/p>\n<p>With the visit to the hat shop a&nbsp;success for both us, we adjourned for coffee and cakes at Gabriel Cafe.<\/p>\n<p>And our luck continued \u2014 as they still had a&nbsp;couple of serves of Mango Panacotta \u2014 something not on their permanent menu.
