CARTE -O- MANIA An exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra focussed on the Carte-de-Visite (CDV). The exhibition ran from November 2018 to April 2019. The booklet from this exhibition is a gem. This is a high quality and fun publication. People with an interest in CDV should get hold of a copy. There are 40 pages (small pages) of introduction, then most of the book is taken up with double page entries on the photographers - Australian studios of the period. Here's a iink to the gallery website on the exhibition. The book is small back packed with information (19cm high X 11.5cm) Besides being a gem to own, it could be a great gift for someone  else.
