Wesley Stacey photographed in Japan and Korea in the mid 1990s while exhibiting 'Landscapes for Peace' in Kyoto and Seoul.

The exhibition included 15 black and white panoramic prints drawn from his 1980s work and celebrated the idea of Kyoto being founded as the city of peace and tranquility in AD794.

 

The prints were framed with bamboo on bamboo tripods - no nailing into the temple precinct walls.
